July 9, Wednesday – A Day of Rest

Will not quite; After seeing the yearling bear early in the morning walk through the empty campground, I went to the big town of Peterbough (Category #3) to do laundry. When all the clean clothes were properly stuffed man-style into the laundry bag, I went to Harlow’s Tavern downtown and had a great French dip sandwich with a local Fire Engine #5 with the locals. From there I strolled between the brick buildings to the river park and helped folks set up their stands for the Farmers’ Market then dropped a few bills there before returning upriver to Greenfield State Park. It was a hard day of rest.
