May 31, Saturday – Change

We had trouble deciding what to do for the day with an eye on Hannah needing to be at the Jacksonville, Florida airport at 3:30 p.m. The day was unbearably hot as we walked the river walk in downtown Jacksonville. All I could do was move from shade to shade. Both of us were trying to avoid the feeling that we were going to be going our separate ways. I was so thankful for her visit and her company. Our weeklong trip together was ending with a whimper along the St. John River. The physical place was not where either one of us wanted to be yet we managed to laugh about it.
Then it was to time to part; parental love overflowing within me as I watched her disappear.

I just stumbled across your blog. So cool! It is my dream to pack the girls and hubby into an RV and travel all through the US. You are living my dream right now. :)

Thanks, Lisa. It has been a very rewarding experience. Traveling alone has forced me to talk to folks along the way. We live in a great nation. Ron
